Stockings for Clare House

Soroptimists of Anchorage have partnered with Clare House to gift their clients with items they need for everyday life. Gifts often include warm socks, gloves, gift cards, winter hats, and a variety of toiletries.

All gifts are stuffed into “stockings”, beautiful handmade pillow cases, which are useful items for transient women – for using as a ‘carry-all’ and for pillow-coverings, sewn by our club members and friends of Soroptimist. This is one of our longest standing and most loved events.
