The trustees of the Rose Kapingen Foundation are pleased you are interested in submitting an application for a grant. The Foundation was established by the Soroptimist International of Anchorage, a service club whose members are business and professional women in Anchorage. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide funds for the higher education of women who reside in the community of Anchorage. It was begun by a generous grant from the husband of one of our charter members and second vice president, Rose Kapingen. Other club members also have bequeathed money to the Foundation.
